Weapons & abilities
KOS-MOS is a specialized weapon, let's make that clear now. As such, she had a RIDICULOUS amount of abilities and weapons at her disposal.
KOS-MOS is gifted with superhuman strength and speed as part of her function to fight and destroy the Gnosis. Her body is formed from some sort of highly advanced nanomachines that allows her to morph parts of her body (specifically her arms) into various energy projectile and melee weapons. Her body is also able to self-repair and is very durable (but not indestructible as we learn during battle against T-elos), and she is also protected by a force-shield. She also possesses the ability to summon various weapons from compressed space.
KOS-MOS, although an android, is capable of using Ether (“Ether” is short for “Especial Theory of Rudimentary”) abilities. In some worlds, Ether abilities would be considered magic however these are based purely on scientific reasoning which to some degree is similar to alchemy. It refers to nanomachine abilities characters can use, which is why KOS-MOS is capable of using it.
A-BURST I - Small fire attack.
A-BURST II - Medium fire attack.
B-BIND - Medium physical attack + small chance of sealing boost.
B-Buster - Small physical attack + effective on type-B enemy.
B-SPIKE - Medium physical attack + small chance of reflecting damage.
CANNON - Medium fire attack.
CANNON II - Heavy fire attack.
D-TENERITAS - Covered in weapons.
G-BUSTER - Small physical attack + effective on type-G enemy.
Hilbert Effect - Brings Gnosis out of Imaginary Space into our own dimension.
K-AXE - Medium break attack + higher critical to type-G enemy.
K-PIKE - Medium break attack + higher critical to type-B enemy.
M-BUSTER - Small physical attack + effective on type-M enemy.
NEMESIS - Massive fire attack + higher critical to type-G enemy.
Phase Transfer Cannon - Covered in weapons.
Short Revenge - Small chance of revenge during short range attack.
Tertiary Weapons System - Covered in weapons.
Transfer system - Used by KOS-MOS to take weapons from a storage area to where ever she currently is. See, THIS page.
VALKYRIE - Two quick slices with her R-BLADE, a leap in the air and a blast from her R-CANNON and the top of their head before landing.
W-BLADE - Medium physical attack + higher critical to type-G enemy.
W-FANG - Two horizontal slices across the enemies chest.
X-BUSTER - Covered in weapons.
Animus: The Anti-Existence to Anima which acts at the Universes Failsafe Device. Animus is used to control Anima. It is used to control the Relics of God, such as Zarathustra, and to begin Eternal Recurrence. It's basically one-third the Universal Rewind Button. Through the use of Animus during the Ancient Lost Jerusalem Era, Anima was split into twelve vessels (the Vessels of Anima used in the E.S's). However, that action caused the death of Mary Magdalene. The release of Animus can also recombine the Vessels of Anima and then assist in shifting an area of space to another.*Only Mary has control of Animus, so only when Mary awakens can it be used.*

WEAPONS ARE AS FOLLOWS
D-TENERITAS: Just… Look at these two icons. Basically, it’s a ball of concentrated Ether energy that she shoots from her boobs. Except, not really from her boobs. Outside influences, like the impact of a weapon, will cause the energy to explode around the victim and cause intense damage.
F-GSHOT: Her F-GSHOT is used with two large triple barrel gatling guns. basically she just shoots things with them.
F-SCYTHE: A very large and very dangerous scythe which, when swung, strikes all enemies before her.
Handgun: Exactly alike in appearance to T-elos' handgun, the Magdalene 16 but KOS-MOS' own is unnamed. (Headcanonly, I call it the Magdalene 17 since she got it after T-elos nearly destroyed her.)
Knife: At the end of the last battle with T-elos, KOS-MOS takes a knife from her boots. It's just a simple, silver colored knife.
Phase Transfer Cannon: This, right here. The Xenosaga wiki has this to say: “Phase transition is the change from one physical state to another. Given the scientific explanations given in-game such as the reference to Planck Scale and that Phase Transition Weaponry seems to be a very powerful form of energy emission in the form of powerful plasma beams this likely refers to the direct conversion of mass to energy according to Einstein theory which eventually led to atomic weaponry. This would be therefore similar to what happens when anti-matter comes into collision with its corresponding matter resulting in the release of massive amounts of energy hence Shion's comment "You could vaporize a whole star with this."”
R-BLADE: She changes her arm into a blade to attack.
R-CANNON: She turns her arm into a mini-cannon and fires a powerful blast at her opponent.
R-DRAGON: A weapon summoned from compressed space which has three “claws” to it. Used to attack the enemy by grabbing onto them twice before the weapon itself is fired at them as a projectile.
R-DRILL: Another weapon summoned from compressed space, it is quite literally a large, hand-held drill which KOS-MOS uses to stab the enemy before using the drill function to drill into them.
R-HAMMER: Summoned from compressed space, the R-HAMMER appears more like a large mace than a hammer and is used to bash the enemy multiple times.
S-CHAIN: A seemingly Ether based combat ability in which KOS-MOS hovers over the ground and three circles appear in the air and then form a triangle of energy directed towards the enemy. Apparently results in an instant kill.
Tertiary Weapons system: Visible in this image and this one, KOS-MOS' optional weaponry, consisting of two phase transfer cannons, one on each shoulder, was designed by Kevin while he was still alive and built at Vector Second R&D Division on Second Miltia. Her Tertiary Weapons System is capable of a range of 130 nanometers and was developed to prevent the worst case scenario from occurring and is capable of destroying an entire armada of Gnosis. When the cannons are fired, a cooling field in the shape of glowing wings is created behind the unit. She does not often use this weapon. It’s seen, at most, three times in the entire saga.
